Training

We have been fortunate to train numerous horses, ranging from young horses just out of the pasture to horses competing at high level.
In every training program, we respect the horse's rhythm and take the necessary time to ensure sustainable and harmonious learning.

Before riding a horse for the first time, we consider it essential that groundwork is solidly established.
From this foundation, we gradually progress with their under-saddle training.

Whether you are seeking support in training your horse, starting under saddle, or if your horse is already more advanced, you are in the right place with us.
We can guide you in your progression or take full responsibility for your horse's training.

Professional Groom Training

At the age of 17, Femke had the opportunity to work as head groom for an Olympic rider.
She was responsible for the well-being of twelve horses, which included managing turnouts, feeding, preparation, and care before and after training and competitions.
She regularly accompanied the horses to competitions and necessary on-site care.

Later, she continued working as a competition groom while pursuing her studies.
She had the chance to collaborate at several competitions with Dinja van Liere during the European Championship in Hagen, as well as with a para-dressage rider, who she accompanied to the World Championships in Herning and the Asian Games in China.

These experiences allowed her to gain solid expertise as a professional groom.
Over the years, she has observed a growing need for qualified professionals in the equestrian world.

This is why we offer a comprehensive groom training program, designed for those who want to work in the equestrian industry but don't know where to start.
This training will equip you with all the necessary skills to become a qualified and sought-after groom.

Groundwork training

As mentioned in the Training section, groundwork is an essential part of our approach.
It helps the horse gain confidence and feel comfortable in its body.
Groundwork also contributes to the horse's gymnastics, promoting balance and suppleness under saddle.

We specialize in:

  • Desensitization work

  • Liberty work

  • Long-rein training (double lines)
